Portfolio

Welcome to my portfolio. Here is a showcase of a variety of work I’ve created over the years that I am very proud of. I have never been able to stick to one medium. I have way too much fun experimenting with new techniques and tools that have pushed me as a person and an artist.
I am most inspired by my love of storytelling and exploring themes centered around my personal life growing up in Arizona as a mixed Hispanic American. I love surrealism and the macabre, and I try to blend the connection between life and death in my work.

Talking about the meaning behind my art has never been easy for me. I like the idea of others having their own interpretation and finding their own meaning without me saying which one is right or wrong. When you view my work, I hope it brings you enjoyment or introspection. Maybe you can even see painful things in a new form or find beauty in the hyper-saturated colors, pretty wavy hair, and monsters.

My first solo exhibition, Astral Panic!, debuted in November of 2023. For this show, I created over 50 new pieces, including inked drawings, custom merchandise, acrylic paintings, and a massive sculptural centerpiece. The collection experimented with shifting light effects, offering a distinct viewing experience between daylight and blacklight. I am incredibly proud of the body of work I built for this debut.

Solo Show

The centerpiece of the show is a monumental figure reaching upward with one hand while the other anchors it, as if the creature is pulling itself out of the depths of hell. When I reflect on the difficult periods of my life, I often describe it as digging myself into a hole. Panic attacks can feel like the walls are closing in, creating a suffocating tunnel vision where you either forget to breathe or lose control of your breath entirely. This sculpture represents the moment I managed to pull myself out. I don’t ever want to go back.

Design

My job experience has been mainly in design for print and web. Yeah, I know I’m using Squarespace to build this website. I could try to build something complex in WordPress or learn how to code, but this works for what I need right now.

Product

Design

I love creating product and merch designs. Seeing your work come to life is such a cool feeling. It is amazing to make people smile or to see someone cooler and more fashionable than me wearing a pin I made. I love it.

Video editing

This is my YouTube channel. I am currently taking field recordings of animals and life in my backyard to create an atmosphere of the Southside Tucson neighborhood vibes.

Animation

I wouldn’t call myself an animator, but I love moving pictures. Here are some sketches and creations I made to make my art move. These help me understand my work in different dimensions.

Illustration

I love the little details. These drawings took a couple of months to finalize. I love the meditative process of ink drawings.

Painting

I primarily use acrylic when painting and I love to work on large format canvas. The largest painting I’ve made so far was 6ft by 7ft. I will go bigger next time. My favorite color is dioxazine purple right now, if you couldn’t tell. I have also played with using glitter, neon fluorescent, and glow-in-the-dark elements to play with lighting effects in my work.

Mural

This is a mural I painted using outdoor house paint. The theme was water, so I created a "sea saint" in the depths of the ocean. I was assisted by my friends on the selection of the fish (thanks, Grace). This was painted in March 2025 at the South Tucson carwash with SWBP. Thanks for letting me join this event. Completed in two days.
Portal Cocktails was a bar on 4th ave in Tucson. I worked with Mark on illustrations for the New Moon Menu in 2024.
Portal/Ermanos Bar was open for about 10 years and sadly closed in early 2025.
I really loved working on this menu and am sad to see this place go.
